PASSIVE VOICE

(Present Simple)
The object of the active sentence becomes the subject in the passive sentence. The
active verb remains in the same sentence but changes into a passive form.
Structure

Present of be + past participle of the main verb

Active Passive
They speak English and French
English and French are spoken in Canada.

They use the Sterling Pound in
The Sterling Pound is used in England.

They grow coffee My mother
Dinner is always cooked by my mother.
always cooks dinner.
Very rich people buy the Bugatti The Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari Enzo cars are
