Gembiraloka Zoo

I have a favourite place in Yogyakarta called

Gembiraloka zoo. Gembiraloka zoo is one of well-
known place in Yogyakarta. Gembiraloka zoo is the
only zoo in Yogyakarta. There are many animals, such
as: giraffe, elephant, birds, crocodile and many more.
I went there last week with my friends. That was my
first time experience to Gembiraloka zoo.

We went there at 10.00 am, so the weather and

air were so nice that day. First, we bought the tickets,
and the ticket price is so affordable for the students
like us. Then we entered the zoo. There are many
activities that we can try, such as: riding a duck boat,
rent a bicycle to go around the zoo, watch the animals
show and studying about animals. So, that’s why I
really love that palce and become one of my favourite
place to come in Yogyakarta.

Me and my friends have the favourite spot in

Gembiraloka zoo called bird park. This spot is so cool,
we can see many kinds of birds that we never seen yet
before. Not only that, we also can took a picture with
the bird hanging on our hand, we like that. The birds seem not afraid to human, they are all benign,
so it safe for children too.

In Gembiraloka zoo we also can find many traders that sell the souvenir from Yogyakarta.
They sell t-shirt, traditional toy, unique souvenir and many more. Me and my friends buy some
unique t-shirt as a souvenir that we ever came to Gembiraloka zoo.
