Peace of Christ!

Many years have passed by since the time you have set your feet here in San Isidro College – your
Alma Mater now. Most of them were accompanied by several challenging situations and life
hurdles punctuated with a mixture of successes and failures. Even so, I believe, those things have
fortified you, hence, you emerged to be conquerors. This is it! Your time has finally come.
My CONGRATULATIONS and COMMENDATIONS to each one of you, Class of 2018! Allow
me also to extend my warmest greetings to your families, relatives, friends, benefactors and to all
the people who have supported you in your studies and who have been with you throughout those
years of knowing, learning and preparing for your future.
Your act of receiving your diploma did not only symbolize your unwavering determination to
desire, discover and experience the essential things in life as children of God and good citizens of
this country, it also gave testimony to your perseverance in making you sojourn in San Isidro
College a life-changing reality. That’s why, I am truly overjoyed of being a part in celebrating this
milestone with you.
You are now career-ready, trained very well in your respective discipline, equipped with the values
of an Isidran education and most importantly, possess what St. John proclaimed his 1st Letter…
“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!
And that is what we are.” (1 John 3:1) Undoubtedly, the God of love who has revealed Himself to
us from time to time through different means and ways helped you a lot to survive and reach the
finish line.
I pray then, that this great love of the Father for each one of you be shown and shared to all the
people you are going to encounter from this time onwards. Be Isidrans, through and through and
be “bearers of God’s love” wherever God puts you. Be sensitive enough and quick to grab every
opportunity that do arise in witnessing to the love of God in your lives. Whatever you do, always
love with the heart of God. Since that is how we are made for.
Go forward now in your respective fields of undertaking. Keep in mind whatever impact you may
establish could greatly boost the development of San Isidro College and the formation of its future
learners. Stay grounded, work humbly and connect with God at all times.
God bless you all!

Sincerely in Christ,
Sr. Jovy S. Benavides, FdCC
