Last topic of the T.O.V. was the Sense of Sustainability on September 24, 2014.

Ma’am Asia showed pictures related to the topic before we learned how those pictures were

related to each other. Pictures were flooded street, El Niño effects, etc. We first concluded it

was about climate change, but then a picture of employees on strike was shown. We were

then confused.

Sense of sustainability is the limit of natural resources consumption. Problems

nowadays are everywhere, in any situations. Financial, natural, even personal. Common

cause of these is scarcity over any circumstances. It is important to overcome these in

uncomplicated ways. Usual scarcity is the resources of the environment. Best example is in

a company, where workers are encourage observe limit of electrical and water consumption.

Workers may not fully understand what for but the company also has weakness to its budget

release for their expenses, including bills for the resources. Not only for businesses

infrastructures may we consider them. At our homes, we do this not because only for

financial purposes, but the natural resources themselves. They have limitation. Climate

change is occurring. We don’t know until when we can consume them, so the sense of

sustainability takes place. Another good example is the earth. We are the members and thus

we should know how to revolve around or reprocess the resources to product then to

resources again, in order to live.
