Teachers Day- Teachers are like second sets of parents for their students, who play a very
important role in moulding their students’ lives, both positively and negatively. A good teacher
not only teaches the syllabus, but also inspires their students to dream and work towards
achieving it, be it a young or a grown-up student. Teachers, as they say, are truly those guiding
stars who take hands, open minds and touches the hearts. And although just one day is not
enough to thank them for all the service they provide to the nation by creating future superstars
in all fields of the world, Alma Kids dedicated this special day to teachers to appreciate their
love, care and hard work they put into the future generations. At Alma Kids, our preschool
teachers are the citizens of the communities where we work, who are trained and motivated
regularly, in attempts to keep up with evolving times and techniques for preschool. Teachers
spend every day with their students, teaching them not only the alphabets and numbers, but also
works towards inculcating good habits, manners and push them to their creative limits, along
with taking care of their nutritional and health requirements, to ensure their healthy growth and
development, both mentally and physically. And like every year, this year as well, on Teacher’s
Day, we celebrated it with full joy and some students were in the role of teachers played their
day job of teacher efficiently.

anger, and it also will keep the child from resentment, anxiety, and depression. So, this
Forgiveness Day, Teacher taught them how to forgive and how to ask for forgiveness in turn.
And kids also had fun with their most loved hand printing activity.

Parenting tip: Spend some time with your children and teach them how to forgive and forget.

skills in the tiny tots. The children were given sheets with outlines of different figures, such as

colour that they wanted to, to fill these shapes. Pre-school kids are at a crucial age where they
need creative ways to learn about colours, shapes, sizes, etc. This is where such activities help in
stimulating the creative side of a child. From an activity such as drawing competition, a child’s
mind not only starts working to decide on which colour or set of colours suit the given shape
best, how to stick to the different borders within the shape.

Tiffin Sharing Day & No Junk Food Day- "SHARING IS CARING". Sharing is a vital life-
skill. It helps the child to make and keep friends and also helps the child to learn that if we give a

opportunity for our students to learn and practice the values of sharing. Students who forgot to
their lunch were taken care of by their classmates who shared their tiffin with others. Kids also

sounds. The usage of shloka is to bring our minds back to the consciousness. In order to help
children understand the importance of shlokas, shloka chanting competition was conducted on

participated in the competition by chanting shlokas with utmost sincerity. They displayed great
confidence as they chanted difficult Shlokas with ease. It was a pleasure to see the tiny tots
participating with such zeal and enthusiasm.

river with a narrow bridge that allowed no space to pass. They argued and fought over who
should cross the bridge first, and neither would budge. Kids were understanding the moral of the
story that when you argue and fight, you lose sight of what is right.

Talking day- Kids enjoyed an unusual day i.e. “Talking day” wherein they were free to talk on
any topic or story with their friends in class or with their teacher which resulted into their
creative ideas regarding the celebration of festivals at their home and why do they love to come
to school and basic question-answer session was done to enhance their individual speaking
