Sentinel RMS License Generator

README
This document contains details about the Sentinel RMS License Generator package for Windows. This package
contains the various License Generation components that were included with the Windows SDK up to the 8.5.x
release and are separated from the SDK since v8.6.0 onward.

NOTE: The components included in the package are serialized with your unique serial number.

The Sentinel RMS License Generator Kit\8.6\Windows directory contains the following directories:

interface.
…\MsvcDev Contains the license generation
libraries for the supported
compilers, along with the related
header files.
…\Tools Contains the following license
generation tools along with the
related files:
 Wlscgen - A Windows
GUI-based utility for
generating licenses
 lscgen - A command-
line based utility for
generating licenses
 ulscgen - A command-
line based utility for
generating upgrade
licenses
The directory includes a readme.pdf that explains the
various COM object properties and methods.
Note: The component was last updated in the 8.5.2
release.
 For details about the license generation API
functions, refer to the “Chapter - License Code
Generation API” of the Sentinel RMS SDK API
Reference Guide.
 For details about the upgrade license
generation API functions, refer to the “Chapter –
Upgrade License API” of the Sentinel RMS SDK
API Reference Guide.
 For a list of the compilers and platforms
supported by the license generation libraries,
refer to “Appendix – Compilers and Libraries
Supported” of the Sentinel RMS SDK
Developer’s Guide.
