Activity for Kapitel 5.

3: Practices separable prefix verbs, accusative

case, word order, and vocabulary.

Directions:

1. Cut out the various parts of speech and organize them in piles by part
of speech (verb, noun, pronoun, article, etc).
2. Translate the English sentences into German by organizing the words
on your paper. You might even want to write out the translations first.
Don’t glue anything until every sentence is complete and every word
has been used.
3. When you think the sentences are correct, glue them down.

Here are the English sentences:

2. He is trying on the jacket in blue.

4. He looks too casual.
5. I am definitely wearing jeans and a T-shirt to the party this evening.
