The GATE 2013 will be held on January 20, 2013. Here are 5 tips to crack the exam.

Analyze- Candidates need to focus on the topics which carry maximum marks and cover them.
Important points should be written as it will help in memorizing and also during revision.

Concepts- The basic concepts of various topics should be clear like Network Analysis,
Communication theory, Microelectronics etc. It will help in preparing for the exam.

Practice- It will help if a student practices question paper of previous years as it will help them in
knowing the time required to attempt the paper.

Mock Test and timing- The students must take mock test in the way actual test happens. They
should switch off the cell phone and also have a timer. The students should also try to take up a
