Introduction
Kumaun University has released notification for LLB / LLM Entrance Examination 2019 for admission
to L.L.B / L.L.M Courses for the academic year 2019 - 20.

Eligibility
LL.B.
Candidates appearing in qualifying examination (U.G. or P.G.) are eligible subject to their U.G.
or P.G. Result is declared and available to the University before Admission date of LL.B.
Course.
Candidates of General category should have secured at least 45% Marks in his/her Graduation
or Post Graduation level Examination. Candidates with percentage 44.99 are not eligible to
apply.
Candidate of Other Backward Class (OBC) category should have secured at least 42% Marks in
his/her Graduation or Post Graduation level Examination. Candidates with percentage 41.99 are
not eligible to apply.
Candidate of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe should have secured at least 40% Marks in
his/her Graduation or Post Graduation level Examination. Candidates with percentage 39.99 are
not eligible to apply.
Candidate should not have any criminal case (ongoing or convicted in past) against him/her.
Candidates who have been debarred by the University for using unfair means in any
examination and debarred period is not over are not eligible.

LL.M.

Candidates appearing in qualifying examination (LL.B.) are eligible subject to their LL.B. Result
is declared and available to the University before Admission date of LL.M. Course.
All Candidates (all Categories) should have secured at least 50% Marks in his/her LL.B.
Examination. Candidates with percentage 49.99 are not eligible to apply.
Candidate should not have any criminal case (ongoing or convicted in past) against him/her.

Candidates are advised to check his/her eligibility for the course before submitting the fees.
Fees, once deposited will not be refunded in any case.
It is mandatory to Post (Registered/Speed Post) the Print out of the final application along with
Self attested copies of documents in support of Qualification(s) and claim of weightage marks to
Controller of Examinations, Kumaun University, Nainital, Uttarakhand - 263001. Candidates are
advised to keep a copy of printed application with himself / herself.
Candidates appearing in qualifying examination are eligible subject to their result is declared and
available to the University on or before verification / Counselling date of LL.B. Course.
Candidates who do not fulfil the requisite educational qualification (i.e. required percentage
and/or Qualifying Examination) will not be allowed and will not be able to fill and submit the form.

You need a Mobile Number and an Email ld (Both active) to complete the Application /
Registration process.

Note : Fee submitted after 18-03-2019 will not be accepted in any case for Entrance
Examination -2019. If the Candidate submits the fee after the said date i.e. 18-03-2019 his
candidature for Entrance Examination 2019 will not be entertained and he / she will be solely
responsible.

Get scanned your passport (PP) size photograph and Signature in JPEG / JPG format. Make
sure that Photo Image should be less than 100 kb and Sign less than 50kb in size. You will be
asked to upload the Photo and Sign while filling up the Application. Size of the Photo should ne
4.5cm X 3cm and Size of the Signature should be 4.5 cm X 1.5 cm.
Candidates need to keep the printed application form and bring it along with other documents

Applications submitted on any other format except Online, will not be accepted.
All incomplete Application Forms will be rejected.

Note :

Candidates are advised to fill their fee using Online Mode to submit Registration Part II instantly.
If a candidate opts the challan mode (Branch Mode) for submission of entrance fee than he/she
will be eligible to fill up the Registration Part II within 24 hour of the fee submission through
challan.
Please check your eligibility before submitting LL.M. Entrance Examination Fee. If a candidate is
not eligible as per given criteria, and submits examination fee his submitted examination fee will
not be refunded.

Examination Day Instructions

Candidates should note that their candidature is strictly provisional. The mere fact that Admit
Card has been issued at the time of online registration and the candidate is allowed to appear in
the Test shall not imply that his/her candidature has been accepted.
The candidates are required to bring a photo identity card along with their Admit Card on the day
of examination.
university may change the Entrance Examination Centre or date of Examination without
assigning any reason.
The use of calculators or Log Tables is not permitted. Mobile phones, pagers, electronic devices
etc. are not allowed in the Examination Hall / Room.
