Transportation created a big impact in our lives since the beginning of man kind.

It helps to propagate
different culture in the world. It also helps in economic growth and development.

People in the ancient times first used the position of the stars, planets and other heavenly bodies in
fortune-telling and divination. But they later learned to used it in locating different places as people
starts to travel from one place to another to find food and other resources, for trade and business, or in
general, for survival.

The invention of compass made it easier for them since some heavenly bodies that they used for
navigating are not visible to the naked eyes during daylight. Also, traveling in daylight is way easier and
safer than traveling at night since roads are not yet universal in those times.

Navigating inventions help us saves resources. It helps us saves time and effort in going to and from
different places. In the present time, Google Maps and the likes helps us save gas which is a limited
resource as it gives us alternative routes in places we wish to go.
