Education Act of 2001 or RA 9155 offers a good opportunity to every school to

make decisions on what they think is best for their learners. School empowerment will lead
to the betterment and more effective learning, so School Improvement Plan (SIP) came
into being.
The School Improvement Plan is for the management of the plan within the school
and generally shared with the school stakeholders. It describes the priority objectives for
improvement and major initiatives, and also delineates performance measures, action
steps and progress monitoring. The priority obejectives and major initiatives should remain
relatively constant over a three-year period so that meaningful improvement can take
place. It is a retrospective picture of the school’s past performance on standardized tests.
It shows how the school performances, accomplishments and recognitions.
The School Improvement Plan of Tanval Elementary School embodies the school’s
and the communities’ vision of the future. This is a fruit of the collaborative efforts of school
internal and external stakeholders. The School Planning Team (SPT) exerted much and
had thorough planning workshop which involves collection of significant data,
interpretations and recommendations on proper interventions that would address to solve
the problems of the school. It is crafted from careful collaboration of the school head,
teachers, parents, community leaders and pupils, who wholeheartedly present this School
Improvement Plan (SIP) that would guide us in attaining the school’s goals. We are hoping
and praying that Almighty God will always be in our side to shade light in all our decision
makings.
