Narrative on LAC February 12, 2020

Poblacion National High School conducted its regular LAC session last February 12, 2020 at its Learning
Resource Center. The morning session was held at 10 am to 12 nn for the afternoon teachers and 1 pm to 3 pm
for the morning ones. It was headed by the school principal, Mr. Dean Hermoso.
In the morning, Mrs. Ellie Gutierrez of Mathematics Department began with the presentation of the
Mean and MPS. She showed everyone the graph of the last third grading test result per subject and grade level
area. The faculty had pondered and thought of some ways to better the result next periodic test. On the other
hand, Mr. Dean Hermoso had also informed everyone with the school’s standing. Among the 8 junior high
schools in the Division of Muntinlupa, it ranked 7th. Because of this, he asked the teachers about some reasons
behind it and what things should everyone do to outdo it. Aside from that, he also mentioned the ebbing NAT
results in Muntinlupa. He then told everyone that action research and worksheet will be institutionalized this
coming school year. He also reminded the faculty about the Form 201, PDS, SALN, and the medical results to be
submitted before the S.Y. 2019-2020 ends. Then, he introduced the new program of the SDO Muntinlupa
authored by the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Dominico C. Idanan, CESO VI, the Muntinlupa S.M.A.R.T .
School, a roadmap to Sulong Edukalidad. S.MA.R.T. stands for School-based Management, Managerial
Competence, Academic Achievement, Research Champion, and Technology-driven Initiatives He echoed to us
too, the rationale, the current realities and standing of Muntinlupa Schools with factual data through graphs.
Before the session ended, he thought us a chant or yell that says, “Sulong! Paaralang Muntinlupa, gawing aktibo,
para ramdam na ramdam. Tara na! Mag-SMART School na!”
Everyone participated as they shout and act out the yell. Indeed, all is well that ends well.
