aya ho. Bollywood ka bohth bada fan ho is liye chupke se yaha pe aya.

Kaushi: What? What? What? What are you saying I can’t understand anything.

Tharaka: Oh Sorry I thought you would understand Hindi since we are at a Bollywood
award festival. I snuck in quietly because I love Bollywood madam.

Kaushi: Who told you that this is a Bollywood award festival? This is the Annual Dinner
of Esquel Sri Lanka

Tharaka: Don’t lie madam. I mean look at this crowd. This is obviously a Bollywood
award festival. (Pointing towards a gentleman) That gentlemen in the(red kurtha) ,
that’s Sharukh Khan, right? and that lady in the gorgeous purple saree that’s Priyanka
chopra right? ( pointing at her) I am big fan of you madam. Love you madam.

Kaushi: No they are not and for the last time this is not a Bollywood award festival.

Tharaka: Please don’t lie madam I just want to take a couple of selfies and be around for
a bit.

Kaushi: Security!!! Security!!! Take this man out

( 2 people come and take him away in a funny manner)

Tharaka: Kaushala, I must say that you look so stunning tonight. I almost couldn’t
recognize you from the backstage.

Kaushala : (Angrily) What do u mean by that? Are you trying to say that I don’t look
stunning on other days? Ahh?

Tharaka: No No don’t get so furious, that’s not what I meant, of course u look so
gorgeous and stunning every day.

Kaushala: Ahhh that’s what I thought

Tharaka: Women…. Now I understand why my father always say, son don’t get

Tharaka: Nothing Nothing, Calm Down Kaushala. It’s getting late and this lovely crowd
is eagerly waiting for us to begin this grand event. So shall we proceed.

Tharaka: Ladies and Gentlemen, A very good evening to all of you, my name is Tharaka
De Silva, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be your emcee for tonight, and this (gesture
towards Kau) gorgeous lady to my left is, my co-host Kaushala Opatha, let’s give a round
of applause for her. I would like to welcome each and every one of you to this
spectacular night of Esquel Sri Lanka Annual Dinner 2019.

Kaushala: Ladies and gents, we’ve got many events planned for you tonight. So, take a
seat and let us now begin our most anticipated event of the year!

Tharaka: I think we can all agree the past year has been full of excitement and
wonderful new opportunities. However tonight, ladies and gentlemen, is a very special
night for all of us. Because tonight we are celebrate the 41 years of success of the Esquel
Group.

Kaushala: Here at Esquel we are one of the world’s leading producers of premium
cotton shirts.

Tharaka: We are also one of the most energetic and forward thinking global scale
companies at the forefront of innovation.

Kaushala: Yes indeed, Esquel follows a Vertical Integration which is a rare kind of
manufacturing. We start our journey by growing cotton, to producing our own yarn, to
creating our own fabric.

Tharaka: But Kaushala, the story doesn’t end there. We manufacture our own
accessories and finally retail our own products and distribute it around the world.

Kaushala: What an impressive achievement within 41 years isn’t’ it?

Tharaka: Of course, Kaushala. Few days back I heard that Our Vietnam Esquel team has
received the Vietnam Sustainability Award for the second consecutive year.

We are proud to announce that Integral, our Sustainable Development Garden in Guilin,
China, has won the international acclaim with a double scoop for the Honor Award for
Architecture and the Sustainable Future Award in the American Institute of Architects
(AIA) International Region Design Award 2019.

Kaushala: On top of that, we are proud to be under the wings of Esquel for 41 years and
now to be a complete part of the Esquel Group since March 2018.

Tharaka: Yes, indeed Kaushala! We are also privileged to host this event, especially in
the presence of our eminent (………………..) and all other distinguished guests.

Tharaka: Well, Today is the day for celebration! Fun! Joy! And Laughter! So everybody

been doing a great job!

success is the sum of small efforts repeated in day in and day out. She is a very
passionate leader with the potential of breathing life into others aspirations.

very special lady with the fire and the passion who oversaw a rapid expansion of the
family business she inherited, by doubling its revenue in a very short time period. She is
Majorie yang. Before we move on, we’d like to thank our Chairman, Margie for supporting
and inspiring Esquel Sri Lanka to host many events throughout the year 2019. To our
honored guests ( ) we are humbled by your presence. So, thank you for joining us tonight
at this prestigious event.

Kaushala: “ Management is about arranging and telling. Leadership is about nurturing

and enhancing. We are proud to say that we are under the safe wings of a leader who
always inspire us not be just a mere follower, but future leaders. He is none other than
Mr.Chen peng, the general manager of Esquel Sri Lanka. He did his incessant efforts to
make this night an unforgettable one. He added another feather to the glory of our
Group by making this occasion to take place in a grand way and we are thankful to him
for his immense support.

Kaushala: We speak of all these events that were accomplished throughout this year,
but none of them could’ve been achieved without our Senior Managers and Managers.
So, at this moment we’d like to thank each one of you for your contributions for the
success at Esquel Sri Lanka for the year, 2019.

Tharaka: Organizing this annual dinner must not have been an easy task whatsoever.
