Purpose:

This paper aims to evaluate the application of leadership theories to a leader in an organisational
context and management theories to a contemporary organisation

Approach

Taking a closer look at the organisation and the leader in context, I did a number of researches on the
organisation and the leader, and also created questionnaire that are targeted towards the leadership
and management practice to be certain the leadership and management theories been practiced and
understand what role organisational culture played the organisation.

Finding

Organisational culture of the organisation needs to be revisited to create a mentality within the
organisation. There was the incorporation of all classical management theories in application in bites,
the leadership style is quite ineffective such that the contemporary nature of organisation now does not
function on the practiced leadership style.

Research limitation

the society of existence is more of a mixture of more of static than dynamic approach to situation, the
greatest gap is not the right application of the right theory at the time but the need of awareness of the
existence of these principle that will for sure better the outcome of any organisation. There must be an
education of the vital role of leadership and management theories, on how it can shape the economical
sphere of this nation.

Implication

Leadership and management theories are a kind of a myth in practice in this part and the implication of
that is the stud growth of organisations through poor leadership and management practice.
