CHAPTER I
A. BACKGROUND
Learning is one of procces of
communication between learners,
instructions, and teaching materials.
Communication will not work without the help
of messanging or media facilities. The
message that will be communicate is the
content of learning that is in the curiculum
that is poured by the instructor or facilitator or
order sources into cummunication simbols.
Delivery of learning message from teacher
to students today, still using teaching aids
such as books. This makes students less
interested and feel bored when absorbing
lessons, thus giving the effect of lazy learning.
In this case it is very far from the main
purpose of learning to print students quality.
CHAPTER II
THEORITICAL REVIEW
Where as according to BRIGGES learning media is a
physical means to convey learning content/ materials such
as : books, films, videos and so on.
National education assosiation revealed that learning
media are a means of communication in print and listenig,
including hardware technology
So, in general it can be interpreted that learning media is
a tool for teaching in learning. Namely everything that can
be used to stimulate thoughts, feelings, attention and
abilities or skills of students so that it can encourage the
learning procces in students.

TYPES OF LEARNING MEDIA

According to Rudy Brets, there are 7 media


classification, namely :
1. Audio visual media moments
Like : Voice films and television.
2. Audio visual media is silent.
Like : Slide
3. Semi-Motion audio
Like : moving voices
4. Visual media moves
Like : Silents film
5. Media visual silence
Like : mute slides, printed pages and photos
6. Audio media
Like : Radio, Telephone, audio tape.
7. Print media
Like : Books and Modules .
THE PURPOSE OF LEARNING MEDIA

The purpose of using learning media : to help


teachers convey messages or subject matter to their
students , so that messages are easier to uderstand ,
more interesting and more fun for students.

RESEACRH METHODS

The method we use is Qualitatif media. Is a method


that emphasizes objectively measuring aspects of social
phenomena . To be able to make measurements, each
social phenomenon is described into several problem
componets, variabels and indicators.

CONCULSSION

Based on the results of the research we conducted in 3 schools,


namely SMA N 16, SMA AN-NIZAM, SMK IMELDA the
application of learning media that is the most favorite and has an
impact on improving student achievment is Audio Media.
