NATURE OF PLANNING

Planning is one of the major functions of management and also planning

is a process that involves the setting of the organization’s goals,establishing

strategies for accomplishing those goals and developing plans of actions

that managers entend to use to achieve said organizational goals. So in

order for you to achieve your organizational goal,you need to apply those

Natures of Planning.

There are five natures of planning which is the.

PRIMARYFUNCTION,GOALORIENTED,THECONTINUOUSPROCESS,FLEXIBLE,A

ND MANAGERIAL FUNCTION. Functions of management largely depends

upon planning. Primary Function provides the basic foundation from which

all future management arise. Goal-Oriented is the objectives of your

plans,because plans arise from objective and objectives provides guidelines

for planning. This function is a continuos process or an on-going process of

adapting the organization with the changes in business. This is also a

Flexible function because it selects the best alternatives based on certain

assumptions. And this is also a managerial function because it is found at all

levels and all departments of an organization and it also involves choosing

the future course of action from among alternatives.

Planning is important because it increases effeciency,reduces business-

related risks,facilitates proper coordinations,aids in organising,gives right

directions,keeps good control,helps to achieve objectives,motivates the

personnel,encourages creativity and innovations,and helps in decision

making. This is why planning is important to an organization.

 In conclusion, planning is the most important function of an organization

because without planning you cannot apply the other functions of

organization. So have a good plan,objectives and apply those natures of

planning in order for you or to your organization to achieve your goals that

you want in your organization.
