Birds I have seen

White Throated Kingfisher –

Common both near and away from water; frequently seen perched on fence posts and
telephone lines near wetlands, lakes, agricultural fields, and clearings.

Cattle Egret –

The cattle egret is a cosmopolitan species of heron found in the tropics, subtropics, and
warm-temperate zones. They stalk insects and other small animals on the ground in grassy
fields. They are much less often seen in water than other herons.
Indian Pond Heron –

A small heron that is common in most aquatic habitats across the Indian subcontinent.
Brahminy Kite –

The Brahminy Kite is one of the medium-sized raptors (birds of prey), with a white head and
breast. The rest of its body is a striking chestnut brown. The very tip of its tail is white
Spotted Dove –

Spotted Doves are mostly light brown above, with darker centres to the feathers of the back
and wings. The head is grey, and the neck and underparts are grey-brown, tinged with pink.
Large billed crow –

A large crow that varies in size across its range; note its relatively long, dagger like bill with
curved top. Entirely black with a variable amount of glossiness.
