Remove/install
1.1 Remove/install/replace camshaft positioner Only for engine 111.981/983
solenoid (1)
To do so, center the camshaft positioner
solenoid (1) and seal off to the front cover
using sealant.
8 Nm
Loctite sealant 5970A container of sealing *BR00.45-Z-1013-01A
compound should be used for 25. Quote
ES2 10 when ordering.
1.2 Remove/install/replace both camshaft Only for engine 271.948 AR05.20-P-7295PK
positioner solenoids (1)
2.1 Retrofit adapter cable (2) to camshaft Only for engine 111.981/983
positioner solenoid (1)
2.2 Retrofit adapter cable (3) to camshaft Only for engine 271.948
positioner solenoids (1)
To do so, tie back electrical lines using
cable ties and make sure the routing is free
of any scuffing.
