The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn show a lot of perspective especially when it

come to equality and civilization. At a young age, Huck has experienced many challenges.
He suffered cruelty by the hands of his drunkard father. Tired of all he is facing and in life
he decided to fake his death and voyage away from his town. On Huck’s journey he is
accompanied by a stray slave of Miss Watson named Jim. Jim is about to sold by his
owner to another rich man to become their slave. Wanting to leave free he decided to
board the raft of where Huck is riding and sailed in the Mississippi River.
The two men face several challenges which made them much closer friends. On
their way, the story give lesson about curiosity of a young boy. Leaded by his eagerness
to wonder the whole world, he left his cruel life to reach for his dream. This is very relevant
on the youth in this day, young kids tend to explore new things wanting to learn and
experience many things, yet some are led to wrong path. Drugs, young pregnancy and
AIDS are just a few examples.
One of the main points of the story is about equality. In the story Jim is a black
America, which in that era people like Jim are considered as slave. But Huck showed him
equal point of view. They became friends no matter what the color of their skin. They been
a good help to each other facing their differences and problems in their journey. Racism
is an unhuman act which should not be tolerated. No matter how big or small, black or
white, respecting each other as a human being are what should we all be doing. With this
we could achieve world piece and unity all over the world.
Another point of view given in the story are about freedom. As in Huck’s part,
freedom for him is to get out of his father wraith and voyage to travel around the world. In
Jim’s part freedom is for him to not be enslave by White Americans. We all live in this
world to be free and live as peacefully as we wanted to. But some doesn’t want it, some
wanted all the power on their hands and dictates what has to happen in some people’s
life which is very wrong because you are taking their part as a human.
