I think that things will be different this time as I have taken this course years before in

my first semester. I got an E that time because I didn’t do the e-portfolio thinking it was a
pointless assignment. So, I think this time around I will be a lot mor paranoid about making sure
everything regarding the e-portfolio will be completed.
I selected this course because it was recommended by an academic advisor in a
roadmap we planned out. The reason I have one being that most of the time I have no idea
what to register for next. Meaning I need to have a plan on paper to know where to go.
I expect to gain a deeper understanding of the history of America than what is taught in
a bog-standard high school history course. Given that it has been years since I took this course
last, I believe it would stand to reason that the course will be even better. I expect that studying
the diverse populations of America will be quite fascinating.
My favorite period in American history is World war 2 and the period after the war. I like
it because I find myself fascinated by all the technological progress, we made in that time
period. The music is my favorite thing about that period as I love the jazzy tones (Frank Sinatra
forever).
