Good morning everyone!

I know that our graduating pupils here are now very

excited to experience high school life. So for that, allow me to share how Sacred
Heart Academy completely let me experience how to have fun at the same time
studying. But before that let me introduce myself, I am __________a proud alumna
of Sacred Heart Academy

So Sacred Heart Academy started giving service to people in 1947. It was led by
Rev. Fr. Felix S. Zafra D.D., the parish priest of Our Lady of Light at that time. It was
built in order to cater the needs of many people. Therefore, Sacred Heart Academy
is now on its 72 years. And amidst of the calamities and tragedies it faced, still it
continues to rise and sustain its legacy in producing empowered people. This is all
because Sacred Heart Academy is a catholic school who envision students to
become God- fearing, God-loving, and well-transformed individuals. A mission which
is to provide quality education and values formation. Goals which are to become
person to others by sharing what we have and what we are; having a harmonious
relationship among administrators, teachers, parents and students based on
Trinitarian spirituality; and lastly develop a pro- people, pro- nation and pro- Earth
and a pro-God Community.

Every Wednesday and Friday, the school recites a novena prayer for the Immaculate
Heart of Mary and Sacred Heart of Jesus while we celebrate a Eucharistic mass
every Friday. Also, SHA teaches religious and values education subjects which
make us different from other schools. Additionally, in the month of October, the SHA
gives honor to Mother Mary by praying the holy rosary. Moreover, the school has a
special organization which is called Student Catholic Action or also known as SCA. It
is as an organized group of students striving to become a community of disciples of
Jesus Christ by being evangelized and evangelizing. Lastly before the school year
ends, every grade level except grade 10 will have a recollection while the grade 10
students will have parent youth relationship enrichment (PYRE). These activities
make the students like us help practice the good teachings of Christ.

Do you want to meet new friends? Want to experience the life of high school
student? SHA brings you a lot of fun. In the middle of the month of June, our school
organize an acquaintance party which enables freshmen like you to interact and
mingle with senior students. This will help you develop your social skills that will give
you self-esteem.

If you want to discover your potential skills in sports and in arts, SHA is perfect for
you. Every year the school held an intramurals for students. Various sports either by
group, double or individual are present such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, futsal,
sepak takraw, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, swimming, track and field,
javelin, shot put , and discuss throw. On the other hand, in the arts, literary and
music category, SHA conducts a contest for vocal solo and duet, modern dance,
dance sports, chess, essay writing, general information, poster making, bible quiz
and lastly the search for Mister and Miss Intramurals. These events will showcase
the different talents and abilities of a true sacrecordian.

The most awaited part of high school life, the high school days! Various clubs will
organize different booths like jail, mariage, videoke and dedication booth, love knot,
blind date, maze mania, food hauz and ML tournament. These booths will give
chance to students to make a move to your crushes. And also to take a break from
stressfull academic life. At the end of the high school days, there will be field
demonstration. A culmination for the MAPEH subject where different type of dances
were executed by the students.
