“Self-Control and Discipline over Selfish Inclinations and

Undesirable Conducts”

FS: Self-control and discipline is one mark of a mature

person; it applies to control of language, physical
treatment of others, and the appetites of the body.
Good morning Melvin!

Melvin : Good morning Fearnstien.

Both: Good morning everyone!

FS: Welcome to our monthly program sponsored by Grade 12-

Agricultural Crop Production.

Melvin: Under the advisory of Mr. Frances Arroyo Palec.

FS: With the theme…

Both: “SELF-CONTROL AND DISCIPLINE OVER

SELFISH INCLINATIONS AND UNDESIRABLE
CONDUCTS”

Melvin: To start with, may we call on stage Miss Abie Jean

Balbontin for the opening prayer.

Prayer: Let us put ourselves in the presence of our Lord. In

the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy
Spirit, Amen. Our Father in Heaven, You are the Lord
of the lords, the King of the kings. We glorify You, we
adore You. Forgive us, Oh Lord our trespasses, as
we forgive those who trespassed against us. We
thank You for this wonderful day You have given us.
Thank You for giving us healthy body and good and
peaceful mind. Bless us each day as we face life’s
challenges. Let Your Holy Spirit lead us in the right
path. Give us Your light to be our guide and Your
grace to be our support in fighting our problems and
to win every battle. Bless our Officer-In-Charge so
that she may be able to guide and re-align us from
whatever negative vibes and can lead us in the right
way. Bless our school and teachers so that they can
teach us students to live this life on earth to face its
struggles and its strife and to improve our worth not
just the lesson in a book or how the rivers flow but
how to choose the proper path wherever we may go
to understand eternal truth and know the right from
wrong and gather all the beauty of a flower and a
song for if we help the world to grow in wisdom and
in grace then we shall feel that we have won and we
have filled our place and so we ask your guidance,
God that we may do our part for character and
confidence and happiness of heart. Bless our
parents so that they can sustain and continue to
support us in all good activities. This we pray, in
Jesus name, Your Son, our God, forever and ever.
Amen. In the name of the Father, of the Son, and of
the Holy Spirit. Amen.

FS: Exercising first thing in the morning ensures that

you'll have the time for it, and it improves your self-
control and energy levels all day long.
To make our body strong, physically fit and healthy,
everybody is requested to follow the dance exercise.

Melvin: For those who will participate actively and will have
the best performance will be given instant prizes.

FS: Respect your efforts, respect yourself. Self-respect

leads to self-discipline. When you have both firmly
under your belt, that's a real power. May we call on
stage Miss Veronica Lopez for her welcome
address?

Veronica: …
Melvin: Thanks Veronica for a warm welcome. Music
expresses that which cannot be said and on which it
is impossible to be silent. Let us be entertained by a
song number to be rendered to us by Mr. Samzon
Divinagracia and Miss Fearnstien Aspan.

Melvin: Wow! What a marvelous performance. I believe you

just did what I said to you guys. Proud classmate
here… At this moment, may we call on stage Miss
Leica Pearl Salle to introduce our guest speaker for
today.

Leica: Good morning everyone. My task this morning is to

introduce to you our guest speaker for this monthly
program. Our guest speaker is a native of Barangay
Santiago, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo, Philippines…

Sir Arlie: …………………………

Melvin: Thank you Sir for sharing your ideas and make us
inspired to be a good student. To award the
certificate of appreciation to our guest speaker, may
we call on stage Mr. Frances Arroyo Palec, Grade
12-ACP adviser together with Miss Veronica Lopez,
Grade 12-ACP homeroom class president.

FS: I will read the citation…Republic of the Philippines,

Visayas, Schools Division of Iloilo, Santiago National
High School, Santiago, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo, awards

Melvin: Dancing - the vertical expression of a horizontal

desire legalized by music. Let us be entertained by a
dance number to be relinquished by the Girls and
Boys in the mirror.

FS: Thank you guys. Good job. That was fantastic. I hope
you guys enjoyed. If I were to begin life again, I
would devote it to music. It is the only cheap and
unpunished rapture upon earth. But anyway, it’s not
too late for us to fulfill our dreams. Here is an
example of a dream come true, may we call on stage
Miss Veronica Lopez, Miss Abie Jean Balbontin, and
Miss Roshel Mabuyao in their song number.

Melvin: Thank you girls for your soulful performance. At this

juncture, may we call on stage Mr. Samzon
Divinagracia, Grade 12-ACP Homeroom Class Vice
President for his closing remarks.

Samzon: …

FS: Thank you so much Sam. Before we end this, let’s

rock the stage by a dance number! Count me in as
we dance Me Too by Meaghan Trainor.
