Application Description and Components

Component Part number Circuit Explanation

C40S-0903AA310 1027472 1. At the top of the stroke the TDC switch is closed
automatically resetting the UE48 when the light curtain is
clear.
C40E-0903AN310 1027473
2. The foot switch is pressed and the ram moves down to the
mute point where it stops.
Mounting kit 2 2019659 3. The mute lamp comes on, indicating that the foot switch
should be released, and the UE48 loses power.
Cables x 2 (5 m) 6009868 4. Releasing the foot switch energises K1 and restores power
to the UE48, which automatically resets.
5. Pressing the foot switch will complete the stroke and the
UE410-MU3T5 6026136
press will return to TDC.
6. The mute is on either at 6mm or at 10mm/s down to BDC
UE48-2OS2D2 6024915 and released after leaving mute on the up stroke.
7. The operator cannot interrupt the guard until mute.
i110-RA123 x 2 6025109 8. If the guard is broken between TDC and mute a reset is
required. Some press brakes may automatically return,
therefore no reset is required.
Muting lamp 2033117
9. The valves are controlled by the UE48 output contacts.
