At the end of the lesson the pupils are expected to:
a. Identify the action words from the song;
b. Define Verbs, and
c. Give examples of verbs and use in sentences.

1. Prayer
Let us pray

“Father in heaven, help thy little


children to love and serve thee.
Throughout this day help us to be
kindly, help us to be truthful that we
may please thee. In all we do or say,
Amen.”

“Pick up the pieces of paper under (The pupils will pick up pieces of
your chair” paper under their chair)

2. Review
To make sure if you really understand
our past lesson about pronouns let’s
answer the following.

But before that please read the


direction first.
Direction: Encircle all the pronoun
used in each sentence.
1. She is our new classmate.
2. He sells newspaper.
3. You are a good friend.
4. I wash the dishes after meal.
5. They go to church together.
3. Motivation
Class, who among you knows how to
sing and dance?
That’s nice!
This song is entitled “If Your Happy”
But before we sing and dance let’s
read the following words first.

from these drawings you will imitate
the action of the following picture.

How about this picture? It’s a fish ma’am.

That’s right! What does a fish do? A fish swims’ ma’am.

How about this? A horse, ma’am.

What does it do? It runs, ma’am.

What does a bird do? It flies, ma’am.

all you need to do is to write five
sentences using the verb base on the
picture inside the envelope. For
group 2, you are going to act the
action words inside the envelope.
After that, every group have five
representative to present their
activity.

every day and use these to form at
least three sentences.
