Hello Family!
To recap our very exciting inaugural Terry Traveling Trophy Christmas Day, here is what was decided by
the group in attendance (& Wayne via speaker-phone).
1. The Terry Traveling Trophy’s name is “Milton” similar to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts
and Sciences Award, named “Oscar”. The Milton honors our forefather, Milton Terry.
2. The Milton recipient/holder gets to decide how and when the trophy passes to the next person,
3. The recipient must keep it at least one month (exception if two events occur closer than one
month, such as Thanksgiving & Christmas) but not more than one year,
4. The TTT can NOT be forfeited,
5. The recipient/holder will determine how to include (or not include) Terry members not in
attendance,
6. The penalty for non-display of the Milton is that whoever discovers the non-display may replace
it with an item of their choosing (said item not to be in violation of any health codes),
7. The recipient is NOT required to dust the Milton.

The FIRST recipient is the person who most closely guessed WHAT the TTT is. After one question from
each participant, the clues determined that: It can stand up (like a figurine), has several colors, is
functional, is an animal that is not native to North America, is not a giraffe, and it needs a battery.
The very clever participants’ guesses included:
1. An elephant (what’s the function?)
2. A parrot (what’s the function?)
3. A light-up nutcracker of a dog (dogs aren’t native to North America?)
4. A singing reindeer (good guess if the function is entertainment)
5. A flamingo fanning it’s feathers (excellent guess, but are flamingo’s native to FL, and FL is still in
North America, true? But . . . that is definitely something that I would buy!)
6. A parrot key-holder that speaks (wow! Fits all the clues . . . but no)
7. A parrot clock (ding ding ding ding ding!!!! A clock is the function!)

And ERICA is the first WINNER of the Terry Traveling Trophy. Suggestions of the manner of the next
passing of the Milton may be directed to Erica.
CONGRATULATIONS ERICA!!!!
With love,
Robin, Aunt Robin, Momma
