Introduction

This training is given for the trainer to make them familiar with the basic metal working process and bring them to
the production stage in their area by the knowledge they get from this training.
This training is focused on the core course of the basic metal work training i.e.
 Bench work, Cut and join sheet metal and welding.

To make the trainer involves in production process
Mission
To make the trainers be able to
 Layout and mark dimensions/ features in accordance with drawing/ specification.
 Cut, chip and file of sheet metal & work pieces within tolerance specify in the drawing.
 Joining of sheet metal
 Folding terminology of sheet metal joints
 Make use of sheet metal cutting tools
 Make use of joining materials and apply different type of sheet metal joints.
 Identify weld requirements
 Prepare equipment for welding
 set up welding equipment
 Select correct electrodes to suitable application &setting
 Perform rutine welding & Apply safe welding practice
 Weld materials according to job requirments
