CONDITIONAL 0

If the telephone rings, it makes a noise.

Water evaporates if you boil it.

If he drinks too much coffee, he can’t sleep.

CONDITIONAL 0

We use conditional when we want to talk about


“conditions and their results”.

ZERO CONDITIONAL:

There are conditionals to express real-life. What


we normaly do or normally happens. Something
that is always or generally true.

If you freeze water, it turns into ice.

ATTENTION

If the conditional comes first, you need a comma.

If you heat water at 100°, it boils.

You don’t need a comma if the conditional


doesn’t come first.

I get tired if I work too much.

USES

To refer to the future. There is a possibility that


the “if - event” happens. It’s a posible condition.
You have a situation, but you’re not sure about
its results.

If Susan studies harder, she will pass the exams.

If he cut his hair, he will look completely


different.
