SCOPE & DELIMINATION

The main focus of this study is to raise awareness to people, especially to the
students who have been fund of reading wattpad that there were lots of different
possible impacts that they might experience knowingly/unknowingly, especially with
their social skills.
Yes, we can say that it can positively affect people in the way of improving their
communication skills. We all know that reading improves vocabulary. On the other
hand, negative impacts can also be encountered because in some ways, people didn’t
able to develop their social skills. They might not intend to but theoretically,
they’ve already chose not to just by not going out and interact with the community.
These cases caught the researchers’ attention to pursue this kind of study.

To derive information for the research that will give proof to the intention of the
study. The researchers will be undergoing two different types of data gathering
such as collection (which will be gathered from random people in our campus via
survey) and experimental (which will be gathered from the researchers’
experiences).

DATA GATHERING
Listed are the possible impacts that are actually happening to people who have been
reading wattpad. From there, the chosen people of the study will pick which
acts/instances have they encounter. And ask them if, afterall, will they still
recommend reading wattpad.
