“What Makes You Happy?”

"Living well and doing well in whatever one does" -- this is the ultimate source of happiness accdg.
to Aristotle's EUDAIMONIA.

The moment I read the lines above, I had reflected right away, and without saying a word, fully
agreed within those lines.

As for me, living well and doing well in whatever one does, is equivalent to living the life with
your own purpose. It's all about making your own story in the world. Story which ultimately seeks for happiness
in this world called life.

Knowing your purpose in life for me, is the foremost thing you must achieve in order to gain
happiness. It's about being free and directing yourself towards the path that you truly wanted. Lucky are the
people who had known their purpose at an early age, for at least they already working on their life's
masterpiece. If you have known your purpose, the word living is the verb for it. Life's purpose is you're
ultimate reason of living. Having purpose in life is the fuel of living the life that you want, consequently will
gave you the genuine happiness in this world.

So if I will be ask what's my life's purpose which makes me happy?

Recently, a lot of changes happened in my life, there's a lot of realizations I acquired. And they
have something to do in living well and fully in this world. Loving my life, the people, and not wasting my
time I have on earth. We need to be rational, we will die, hence I've decided to change, which in result, provided
me the virtue of living everyday to the fullest, I will make my own life's story the BEST, in accordance with
my own life's purpose, my new mantra.

Thus, how I live my life now? Did I acquired happiness from living with it?

Education. Pursuing real education is one of my ultimate purpose in life. My target is a learning
experience, not any numerical equivalents, so I always make sure that I achieved every learning objectives of
every subject that I am studying. I am studying for the purpose of it, not for honor or awards, not for grades or
title. I am studying for the sake of learning. So everytime that I had applied my learnings, satisfaction rises. I
started not to worry and not to be conscious with my grades, not to compete with others and be true to myself,
as a result, it gave my soul freedom and happiness. I could enjoy studying more without those things I used to
be, before.

Minimalism/Intentionalism. Being minimalist is removing the excess in your life, it's living
intentionally. And now, I am practicing it. I started to reduce the number of my clothes, my stuffs and the like
and it provided me additional time. I used to haul stationeries before, but now I reduce it, and I never buy
unless I need it, as a result I had saved money. Is having less possession give me ultimate happiness? Yes,
having less possession made me to appreciate the life more, I do not give meaning or symbols towards tangible
things now -- to have that branded clothes and shoes, to have a collection of stuffs, to acquire the latest edition
of gadgets -- just to be "in" with the society, for the sake of impressing them. I do not care anymore with the
status symbol. It's not true happiness. Instead, being free from this idea of consumerism, and the Filipino
perception of "more is more" -- is a sense of freedom that makes me more happy.

With this mindset and lifestyle, I assessed myself and think about the things I should focus on, and
that's to focus on my personal growth, being healthy, making my family happy, to serve God with all my heart
and soul, to save and take care of our mother nature, to be mindful everyday, to study accounting as a future
wisdom for my future profession, , to enjoy every laughter and moment with my friends and families. To quit
social media. Posting less, Doing more. To appreciate every morning and be grateful every night. To have a
stronger bond with the people that matters to me. To be positive in every situation, to share my knowledge and
help those in need. To experience and do more in this life well enough. To live fully, be peaceful and free --
that's my ultimate happiness in life.

Instead of impressing everyone with our valuables lets focus on impressing upon the world
values -- it's a purpose lead to happiness.
