How to decrease the crime pros and cons

Crime always happen in this world. Even when prophet Adam As life, crime has happened

in this world. In Indonesia at 2017 has occurred 337.000 case. Government have already think how

to decrease this case. The first way is give longer prison sentence. Another idea is look for

alternative ways to reduce crime. Many advantage and disadvantage frim each of this idea.

However we can look for the best one.

Give longer prison sentence is give a deterrent for prisoner. Prisoner who has caught and

go to prison feel afraid to do crime again. They do not want to going to the prison for the second

time. However if the prisoner who has come back from prison and still don’t have any skill or

ability, the percentage for this people to do crime is still big. Because they have any ability they

cannot do anything for they life. So they only can doing robbed and something like that.

When the government give longer prison sentence, not only give a deterrent for prisoner

but also give fear to who want to do a crime. They can thinking many times to do crime. All of

people in this world don’t want to gets in to the prison, so they cannot do crime. In other hand, if

in some place not has a good quality of education. Give the linger prison sentence is not make

sense. People who want to do crime think, when they gets in the prison they still alive, they also
can eat and breathing. The other ways js to increase a education quality in that place. When the

education quality is low they cannot do anything for his life.

Another alternative ways to reduce crime is increase employment for people who do not

have job. The first reason people to do crime is they don’t have job. Because of that when the

government make a new employment crime in that place can be reduce. If only give longer prison

sentence they still don’t have job when they came out the prison, so they can do it again.

So, the best way to reduce crime is not to give longer prison sentence. It is not effective.

It’s only give the other problem to the government and the society. For the government they cannot

do the money for build a new building for society, but rhey use it for people on the prison.

Government should think the alternative ways to reduce the crime in their place.
