BJMP and PNP Personnel seizes Drugs and other contrabands from
inmates’ belongings

Bacolod City – A surprise Greyhound Operations conducted by the elements of


BJMP and PNP at Metro Bacolod District Jail Male Dorm Annex and Metro Bacolod
District Jail Female Dorm both situated on the same compound at Brgy. Handumanan,
Bacolod City has led to the seizure of the following; three plastic sachet containing
alleged shabu from cell number 2 and 9 of the jail, two improvised tooter with traces
and residues of alleged shabu, 13 cellphones, and a cash amounting to P17,179.75. on
the other hand, contrabands that were seized from the Female Dormitory were 11
scissors, 1 bottle Rugby and assorted DVDs. All drug evidences were brought to PNP
Crime Laboratory while non-drug evidence were in the custody of the BJMP Negros
Island Region.

The elements who composed the Greyhound Team were BJMP Negros Island
Region Personnel headed by SINSP Adriano Paracuelles, elements from Regional Special
Operations and Tactical Group (RSOTG) 18 led by PSUPT Robert Lingbawan together
with NOPCPPPMC led by PSUPT Frederick Mead, and members of Special Action Force
(SAF) headed by PINSP Micheal John Versoza.

The Greyhound Operations were conducted upon the request of JINSP MAR
LOUIE SALCEDO, in response to intelligence reports that some suspected drug peddlers
has been throwing alleged illicit drugs inside the jail by climbing the tombs in a
cemetery beside the jail.
