I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of this exercise, students must be able to:


 Understand the definition and concepts of customer analytics
 Apply various methods to better understand customers
 Understand the definition and principles of infographics
 Identify the effective ways of creating infographics
 Perform analysis on the given dataset through creating infographics

II. BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Since infographics exploded onto the graphic design scene about ten years ago, they’ve become a
staple for communication in classrooms, in the workplace, and across the web.

But if you’re new to the world of design, the term infographic might still be foreign to you.

What is infographics?
An infographic is a collection of imagery, charts, and minimal text that gives an easy-to-understand
overview of a topic.

Infographics are great for making complex information easy to digest. They can be helpful
anytime you want to:

1. Provide a quick overview of a topic


2. Explain a complex process
3. Display research findings or survey data
4. Summarize a long blog post or report
5. Compare and contrast multiple options
6. Raise awareness about an issue or cause

III. INSTRUCTIONS

General Instruction: Create an infographic based on the given dataset.

Specific Instructions:

1. Open FEU Canvas, go to Files tab and open Laboratory Exercise folder then click Chapter
03 folder.
2. Download the CustomerInfo.csv.
3. Open the CSV file and perform basic statistical functions in Excel such as Mean, Median,
Mode, or any function you desire to produce reports about the ABC Telecom Customers.
4. After producing reports, use any Graphics editor software to create an infographic based
on the dataset given.
5. Submit the .PDF and .JPEG files of your produced infographics.
