Biochemist

UES, Inc. is seeking a biochemist to support the Airmen Systems Directorate within the
Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. A
successful candidate will have experience developing and analyzing diverse sample types
using molecular/biochemical techniques, such as immunoblots, ELISA, and other mid to
high-throughput analyses. Experience in -omics based chemical analyses is also desirable.
The candidate will work in a small, experienced group where communication among
members and investigators is paramount. Applicant must have strong written and verbal
communication skills, be highly organized, self-motivated, illustrate great attention to
detail, and demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment to meet critical deadlines.

Requirements

 M.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field and 1 to 3 years of

experience / OR B.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field and 3
to 5 years of experience
 Hands-on experience with various molecular / biochemical techniques is required
 Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills are required
 Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements
 This position is working within a government facility and requires U.S. Citizenship
