I received this eMail from a good friend of mine in England and he asked
me to pass it along to other devotees.

Dear Prabhu's,

I had an amazing discussion with a devotee yesterday. He

told me how, he had been approached in the last few months by an Indian
girl who explained that she was a bramacari that we both knew in the
70's.

It is a fascinating tale. The bramacari was 17 years old, had been

recently initiated by Prabhupada and was killed on his way out on book
distribution in 1974. It appears that he subsequently took birth in a
female Hindu body and is now an initiated Iskcon devotee of 27. Although
she is married with 2 children she feels internally like a bramacari
and is keen to meet devotees she used to know and talk about those days
etc.

It may not be appropriate for me to give too much away as I would need
to seek the permission of the devotees involved first, but the story is
quite astonishing. It is a real life example, of Krsna Conscious
philosophy and unravels with the intricacy of a tale from the Mahabarata.

The reason it meant a great deal to us is that my wife and I have had a
similar experience within our own family. Twenty years ago when our
eldest son was 4 he told us that he remembered leaving his body and gave
us detailed information of who he had been in his previous life.

Our son was born in 1977 but was known to us before his death in 1976
and had selected us as his parents because I was always encouraging him
in spiritual life. As his father that role is still on-going.

Hearing of this other case it is obvious to me that Krsna is teaching us

personally through these lessons and if it has happened to myself and
someone I know, similar things have probably occured in the lives of
other devotees around the world.

I'm keen to do a study of this and would encourage any devotees who have
had similar experiences or heard of other examples, to please let me
know. It doesn't have to be a rebirth tale, but if you have anything to
contribute to such a study, in terms of some extraordinary event, I'd be
