Dear Sarah Braun,

As a dedicated, committed student who can think on her feet and communicate well with others, I would
like to apply to be a barista at Starbucks after seeing an open application online. I have always felt I am
treated kindly and feel welcomed in your location as I am frequently there. I think Starbucks would be an
enjoyable place I would love the opportunity to work in and feel I would make a great addition to the staff
at Starbucks as I can bring lots of customer service experience, friendliness and willingness to learn.

As an experienced drama student who has participated on R.E. Mountain's improv team and have
developed skills that will help me think well on my feet especially when under pressure. I am comfortable
speaking in front of people, therefore I would handle customer service effectively. Having a background
of working as a host and expo at Mr. Mikes and Red Robin, I have experience communicating with
customers in a friendly way making sure they are taken care of and helped efficiently.

I feel my abilities in being helpful and friendly customer service are great strengths I can bring in to your
store.
