Habitual Tardiness

I. Introduction: To support student’s difficulties in all areas of teaching and learning process, it is my responsibility
to create a classroom environment where students felt they are important and unique individuals
regardless of any social differences. It is also my duty as class adviser to closely monitor attendance
for them to complete the required number of hours and days in a school year.

Habitual Tardiness which is one of the hindrances in achieving classroom targets in terms of performance
outcomes, thus this study is conducted.

II. Objective/s: 1) Identify the profile of the students who are habitually tardy.
2) Determine the factors affecting habitual tardiness of the students.
3) Identify interventions to minimize and or eliminate students’ habitual tardiness.
