LIFT

With the theme, “Celebrating the Jubilee Year of Mercy”, teachers and
staff of St. Mary’s Educational Institute attended the LIDICSA Festival of
Teachers (LIFT) held at Canossa Academy, Lipa, Batangas, February 19.
The event was also attended by the teachers and staff of the other catholic
schools which are members of the Lipa Diocesan Catholic Schools Association
(LIDICSA). The occasion started with the Holy Mass with Cardinal Rosales
as the officiator, together with the other priests form the Archdiocese of Lipa.
Cardinal Rosales congratulated the organization for celebrating its 60 years.
Also, he stressed out the roles of Catholic Schools teachers as part of the
Evangelization and Ministry of Jesus Christ. He also thanked each attendee for
making it possible to spread the good news of God.
After the mass, schools from each vicariate prepared a presentation. The
performances were based from the songs and dances from the 50’s until the
present. The school, together with the other schools from Vicariate II
performed a dance presentation from 2000 up to 2010-time bracket.
