My Reflection

I have never heard the name of Nick Vujicic, a guy without limbs. His inspirational speech has
big impact in life .

First of and foremost, the story of Nick Vujicic overcoming his hopeless in life is very fascinating

and inspired. Instead of blaming for what we do not have; we should take a moment to

appreciate what we have. Just like Nick, he does not have arms and legs; but with the support

from his family, and the faith he has, he can become a successful man, with a beautiful wife and

two sons. On the other hand, if he were to give up his life there would not be a story of a happy,

brave and inspired limbless guy but the tragic news of a limbless child who gave up hope. In

addition, I strongly agree with Nick’s comments on person’s values. Everyone is beautiful and

unique in our own way. Nick Vujicic's life offers us many lessons of great values.

You can't always change your problems - He's born without arms and legs. Well, imagine if he
had a faith like "Someday I'll have two arms and two legs. It will grow from the inside of my
body. I believe that." It seems like a good attitude, an optimistic thing, but it's not right. If he set
his mind like that, he would never live his life like now, because he would always look for
something that doesn't exist, and he would just be frustrated. That solution will never come. He's
born with no arms and legs. That's it. But wait, it doesn't mean there's no hope. That solution
doesn't exist, but it doesn't mean there's no right solution.

First, we learned from Him how to be positive. We also learn from him how to be bold at difficult
situations. We could find many good qualities in Nick such as determination, preseverance,
generosity, faith in God, Sense of humour, love for fellow human beings etc.Nick is a person
should be thankful for what you have. He surpassed or maybe currently fighting his personal
challenge with joy and that's what people should realize. That no matter how hard it is to live,
you should how to enjoy your life despite of difficulties. Nick Vujicic is a wonderful man,
admirable, and someone who should we make as inspiration. Don't let your life be controlled by
the circumstance. You're the one who should control your life, no matter what the circumstance
is.

I don't say that you can always control your circumstance. Sometimes it's just far from what you
expect it would be, but you can still design your own life with whatever life throws at you.

You can still change bad things into good things. It's an opportunity to change the worst into the
best. Just set it right. It's not easy. Sometimes it takes a long process and time, but it can really
happen. Even when the situation is bad, life can still be great when you live it right and see it
from the right perspective.

We should not care much or need to feel hurt about other people’s opinion on our body, weight,
and height and so on. I believe we should focus more on other important matters such as
improving our skills, preparing for a better career, making time for family dinner, volunteering
and helping other people in needs, and so on and so forth. As he said, our choices affect our
lives; every of our decision will have consequences to our lives sooner or later; therefore, make
good choices.

Moreover, I love the way he expresses how important his family. People can say hurtful things
to us, yet it is our choice whether to listen or throw them away. He is a very persuasive person
even though he is missing a few limbs yet that doesn't stop him from doing what he wants to do

Besides, Nick is indeed a good speaker. He pauses and speaks clearly and in a good pace which
effectively draws our attention. Also, he has a good intonation which is very interesting to listen.
I do appreciate how he is so humble and willing to help inspire many millions of people to love
each other, to be hopeful, and on top of that to not give up on life despite all the hardships. Nick
is a really amazing person because to me a person with no arms and legs is usually laying down
on the bed on day, but Nick doesn't do that. He also motivates other people to never give and
keep trying

Love and support from our family play a powerful role in making us to stand up against the walls
and pains that we have faced along the way in our lives and refer them as lessons and
opportunities to improve ourselves in terms of skills, strengths and capacities. Despite of his
disability, he enjoyed his life and inspired lots of people around the world and that changed my
way of living my life and my vision in life. He made realize that I could do more with my two
arms, two legs, and complete body parts. Feeling contented and thinking positively in life is what
is the greatest learning that Nick Vujicic had taught me.
