MANAGING SELF
ACCURATE SELF-ASSESSMENT

I would say I am in the Established area of this area.

I know a lot of my professional and personal strengths and weaknesses, but have large blind spots (which
I believe most people have to be honest)
I have been interested in personality psychology for quite some time. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator
(and indeed Jungian theory in general) has given me a great of understanding of my own (and
others) psychological make up. Recently, I have been reading quite disparaging articles re: Myers
Briggs. I have been looking at the Hexaco inventory which is very interesting...very comprehensive.
I have a number of checklists for various aspects of my practice...most are on my to be read pile as yet.
I am toying with seeking 360 feedback from my colleagues to further help my self assessment ability. To
be honest, though, I'm not sure if I am ready for that level of self scrutiny.
