The MAPEH Department Grade 9 Curriculum will be having its Culminating activity (Dance Festival)
as their Practicum in MAPEH on February 7, 2019 (Friday) 1:00 PM at Roquero Gym

This activity aims,


1. To introduce the different Festival dances in the Philippines
2. To showcase the talent and skill of grade 9 students in performing and understanding the
nature and culture of Philippine dances
3. To encourage our students to participate, performed and develop their motor skills and
produce a folk – base festival dance

In line with this may I request from your good office to allow as to conduct the said activity which
will be participated by the grade 9 curriculum

Activity: FESTIVAL DANCE Meeting

The Festival Dance meeting was called to order at 1:30 pm it was attended by the grade 9 teacher
with the Aid of our Adviser Master Teacher I in charge in grade 9 Sir Renato L. Ignacio
The meeting was facilitated by Mr. Bambie Cortez and followed by discussing the agenda. Festival
Dance Venue at Roquero Gymn on February 7, 2020. Time start at 12:00pm-assembly and parade
followed by Festival Dance start at 1:00pm. Requesting for the Drum and Lyre in parade. Music in
charge person Sir. Arman Blancaflor.

 Random Sampling on Festival to be performed to avoid duplication, the teacher are in charge
on the draw lots
 Performers will be composed of 40 Students, to comply with the number of participant
combination of sections will be allowed.
 Time allotment will be 7 minutes maximum including entrance and exits
Warm up dance – Arya Original (2.47)
Dance proper – Remaining (4.13)
 A deduction of 1pt every 1- 10 seconds of exceeding time
 No Dance Instructor during the competition proper
 Practice outside the school is strictly prohibited
 In the exceed of time for practice after class inside the school, the teacher in charge is
required stay and supervise his section participant during practice to avoid unnecessary
problem
 No Stunt during the performance (Strictly prohibited) it will result for Disqualification
 No Pyrotechnics during the performance (Strictly prohibited) it will result for
Disqualification
 No Mechanical Devices to be used during the performance (i.e. motorcycle, bike, etc.)
(Strictly prohibited) it will result for Disqualification
 Any Complain from the parent meaning the student is not allow to join in performance. to
avoid unnecessary problem (Remember : This activity is a practicum not a contest)
