Death Penalty

It is one of the most debated topic. Over next few minutes I’ll be sharing
my views upon the topic. The first established death penalty laws dates as far
back as the Eighteenth Century B.C. in the Code of King Hammurabi of Babylon,
which codified the death penalty for 25 different crimes.
Some people simply deserve to die and we have an obligation to execute
them. if you ask me to state why do I support death penalty in a word it would be
JUSTICE, and in two word it would be JUSTICE and DISCIPLINE. I belive one should
be punished for his/her wrong criminal act. More than 400,000 people die from
homicide each year. There are usually two groups of killers, at one extreme there
are killers who feel nothing about their doing or even are sorry for and at other
extreme there are sadistic serial killers who raped tortured and mutilated their
victim upon their justification they are emotionally involved they feel thrill and
exhilaration these are the people who deserve to die. Opposition to death
penalty debates over execution of the innocent. For the fact we actually don’t
know if we have convicted the wrong person and sentenced him to death. But it
is true that we probably might have. We might have, and this is the far most
sadistic thing. The question comes is that a price worth paying?? The tolerance
for error is extremely small and should be smallest with death penalty than any
other punishment but it isnt zero. We do make a sacrifice in order to accomplish
justice. The wrong question to ask what good will it do? Rather the question
should be what good has it done. You can see countries developing and drops
into its crime rate. Losing a person in family who is the only source of income in
the family not only effect the him but the entire family.
