Task Owners

Interviewer: Andrei Ilisei

Interviewee: Task Owner1
Date and time: January 5th/2020/13:00
Location: Coffee Shop

Interviewer: Hello. Thank you for your time and help regarding this project. I will just start by
asking some personal questions.
Task Owner1: No problem. Sure.
Interviewer: If you could tell me a bit about yourself. What is your name and How old are you?
Task Owner1: My name is Mathilde and I am 25.
Interviewer: Do you have a family? A husband, kids?
Task Owner1: No. I do not have a husband or kids.
Interviewer: What about your work? What do you work as?
Task Owner1: I work in a restaurant at the moment.
Interviewer: How did you begin using Pinploy?
Task Owner1: I wanted to install some lights into my apartment, and I didn’t have an idea how
to do it, so I just looked for an electrician/handyman. The prices were pretty high so I tried to
look for other solutions. After some searches on google, some ad appeared on Facebook about
Pinploy, so I just checked it.
Interviewer: You didn’t find anything regarding Pinploy on google?
Task Owner1: No. Nothing appeared when I searched.
Interviewer: What was your first thought regarding Pinploy? Beside the need of a handyman,
what were some factors that attracted you towards it? Price, the chance to try something new?
Task Owner1: Well, first of all, it was something new that I haven’t tried before. I just checked
their Facebook page and it looked like quite a new page with not so many likes and reviews, but
there was some new activity on the page, and it looked like it is in the process of becoming
something so I decided to try it. And also when I checked their website from what I saw in the
instruction that they gave about prices, it seemed cheap. So I just gave it a try.
Interviewer: How did you felt regarding the fact that the Facebook page was new and there were
not some proves that would ensure trust? What about the platform itself, what do you think of it?
Task Owner1: Well, I felt a bit skeptic as there were not so many reviews and not a big number
of people following it on Facebook that can provide me an insurance that it is a good thing, but
I didn’t have anything to lose by just trying it. The landing page of the platform was simple, but it
had a nice video explaining how the whole process is, but once you create an account, the
platform is different. It is too simple. It also took a while until I found out how much I should pay
for my task. Maybe they would need to point it out more about the prices, so it can attract people.

Interviewer: How did your interaction with the platform was? Did you find it easy to browse it,
create an account, post the task?
Task Owner1: It was a very fast process. Nothing complicated in there. You just put some
personal details, your payment details and you’re ready to go. So I had no problem in that. The
process of the job posting was not complex as well. It is a really easy process.
Interviewer: Have you tried some other platforms similar to Pinploy?
Task Owner1: No, I haven’t.
Interviewer: Did it take a long time until you received an offer for your post?
Task Owner1: Yea. It took like a day maybe, until someone applied. I didn’t need to put those
lamps so fast and I thought that the price that I put for the job was cheap so I waited, but the
next time I posted something it take too long and no one was bidding for my post so I just gave
up.
Interviewer: How did you felt about that? Did you had any thought regarding that?
Task Owner1: I was just wondering how long should I wait until I got a response. As I said it was
nothing that urgent to be fixed so I was calm about it.
Interviewer: How would you describe the interaction you had with the Pinployee that applied for
your task? Were there more people that applied?
Task Owner1: There was just one that applied, and it was a really simple interaction. He just
asked me some more details about the job from the chat and then we exchanged phone numbers
so he can call me when he would come.
Interviewer: Did you have any doubt regarding the pinployee? Maybe he Was not skilled enough
and they will make a bigger problem instead of making it better?
Task Owner1: Well, I didn’t really think of that. As long as he bided for the job I just expected
him to know what he is doing. But now that I am thinking it would have been great to have some
better assurance from him.
Interviewer: Do you think that would make you feel that you can trust the platform and it`s users
more if it would come to have some more complicated jobs?
Task Owner1: It would be good to have at least more information about the person. Some
reviews, some pictures, something that would make him look more trustworthy and reliable.
Interviewer: How would you describe the interaction with the Pinployee when he came to fix the
problem? Did you spend the whole time with him or just did you job in the meantime?
Task Owner1: It was a pretty short job that he did, so I just was in the same room. I asked him
if he needs anything, and I was just being a good host, I guess.
Interviewer: What about the Pinployee? How did he behave? What kind of attitude he had?
Task Owner1: He was really friendly and casual. We just had some small talks and that was kind
of it.
Interviewer: What happened after he said he finished the task?
Task Owner1: I just checked to see if the laps work and everything was good. I just released the
payment and he asked me if I could give him a feedback on the platform, which I did.
Interviewer: How did the whole experience felt for you?
Task Owner1: It was an easy process and the pinployee did a good job, so for me it was a good
experience.
Interviewer: Do you have any needs or expectations from this kind of service that Pinploy couldn’t
fulfill?
Task Owner1: It would be nice if I could check some of the most active Pinployees on the
website. Or see them all. Like a board and maybe be able to text some of them in case you need
something urgent.
Interviewer: Do you have any feedback for Pinploy that would help in improving your experience
next time?
Task Owner1: I think that it would be good if when I post a job, there will be people bidding on
the job faster. Not waiting a couple of days to get an application.
Interviewer: I understand. Would you tell your friends about your experience?
Task owner1: Yes. If someone asks or is in the same situation like me I will let them know about
Pinploy.
Andrei: Great. Thank you for your responses and help. Have a good day.
Interviewer: Andrei Ilisei
Interviewee: Task Owner2
Date and time: January 12 /2020/12:00
Location: Phone Call

Interviewer: We can begin by telling me a bit about yourself. What is your Name?
Task Owner2: Hei. My name is Natalie.
Interviewer: Hei Natalie, Can I ask you some personal questions, like what are you working, if
you have a family, how old are you and if you own your own house?
Task Owner2: Of course. I am a not married, but I do have a boyfriend, and I work as a Digital
Marketing Manager. I am 32 and yes, I own my own house.
Interviewer: Great, I will start asking some questions about Pinploy and your interaction with it.
When did you first start using the platform? And how regularly do you enter on it?
Task Owner2: I start using it first time like half a year ago. I don`t use it that regularly, as I didn’t
have any problems recently.
Interviewer: What do you think of this kind of idea? You find it interesting? More useful that calling
a handyman?
Task Owner2: I find that it is a really cool idea, and it is something new that I haven’t tried. I didn’t
really know what to expect when I used it. For me it was quite useful and much more convenient
than a handy man.
Interviewer: Why did you use this service in the first place? What made it attractive? Why didn’t
just asked your boyfriend or called a handyman?
Task Owner2: Well, my boyfriend was not aware how to fix that and on my search for a
handyman I thought it was too expensive.
Interviewer: How did you felt regarding the fact that a handyman was too expensive?
Task Owner2: Well, I was a bit annoyed, and I felt that a handy man asks too much for a job like
this. I just wanted to find something cheaper.
Interviewer: So how did you find about Pinploy?
Task Owner2: I just wanted to buy some new furniture and didn’t knew how to assemble it, so I
didn’t want to take a risk and get it and then not know how to put it together, so I start looking for
some solutions. At first I just looked for handyman’s on google, but nothing regarding Pinploy
appeared and all the other websites and offers were expensive. Only after a while I just saw a
commercial on Facebook about Pinploy and then I decided to check it.
Interviewer: Have you found other platforms similar with the one like Pinploy?
Task Owner2: Yes, I found this one called Handy Hand, where I posted the job and got a couple
of offers, but then no one responded, and it felt unprofessional.
Interviewer: So what made Pinploy look more professional or what set it apart from the other
one?

Task Owner2: Well, the landing page of the website looked really simple and it had a nice
visualization video explaining how it works. It was catchy. It was also easy to create an account
and post the job I wanted to be done. It didn’t really have something that would make it more
reliable than the other one, but I just decided to give it a try.
Interviewer: What were you feeling about Pinploy when you found it?
Task Owner2: I was curious, and I was happy about the prices that I can put for my task.
Interviewer: Can you tell me your thoughts and impressions about the creation of the account
and posting the task?
Task Owner2: As I said the creation of the account was no problem, it went really fast, and
regarding the job posting, there were guides and instructions about how to do it and how much
should the payment be so I thought that was a good thing to know. Otherwise I wouldn’t have
had any idea how much I should pay the worker.
Interviewer: Did it take a long time until you received an offer for your post?
Task Owner2: As first I didn’t get any offers or replies on the job, but after a day I got a notification
about it, and then I start the conversation with the bidder.
Interviewer: How did you felt about that? Did you had any thoughts regarding that?
Task Owner2: Well, I was a bit impatient, and I was not sure if anyone will ever apply. I didn’t
know how long should I wait until I get a response.
Interviewer: How would you describe your interaction with the Pinployee when he applied for the
job?
Task Owner2: What I was a bit surprised about is that the Pinployee bided for my job with a
higher price than I asked. And as the time was already long until someone applied for the job, I
decided to accept his price offer. But It felt like kind of a bummer.
Interviewer: How was your communication? Through the platform, phone? And were there more
pinployees that applied for the job?
Task Owner2: First we started on the platform and then after everything was discussed and I
knew what will happen, we just exchanged phone numbers so it would be easier. It was just one
person that applied.
Interviewer: So If there were more people applying for the job it would felt different regarding
that bidding?
Task Owner2: Yes. Because I felt that I can`t have a chance of saying no to his bidding as no
one else would apply for the job.
Interviewer: Did you interfered any problems in the interaction with the Pinployee? Or did you
had any moments that you felt he is not reliable enough?
Task Owner2: Well, I am usually a trustful person, so I just asked the person if he knows what
he is doing, so I just trusted him, but I am not sure this is the best way. I think they should have
some ways of proving that they are legit and that nothing bad is happening.
Interviewer: What would make you then feel that you can trust the platform and the Pinployee?
Task Owner2: Well, first of all I would like to have a warranty in case something goes wrong,
which from what I read on the website, there is not. And then I would like to have some reviews
or some opinions, or better descriptions on the people that apply for the job. Some way of
creating trust, maybe having his Facebook account connected to the platform, or if he has some
ways of proving he is good with this kind of services. But, some reviews from other people make
it pretty reliable.
Interviewer: How would you describe the interaction you had with the Pinployee when he came
to fix the problem? Did you leave him to do his thing and you went to do yours? How did it work?
Task Owner2: I was in the house, and for most of the process I was available and close to where
he was doing his job, in case he needed something. But it was a personal interaction. The guy
that came to help me was helpful and I really felt that I got some good help.
Interviewer: That is great to hear. What about when he finished his job? How did the payment
process go? Did you checked his work before releasing the payment?
Task Owner2: I didn’t have any problems with that, everything went perfectly fine. I was pleased
with the job he did so I released the payment from my phone and then gave a feedback to that
Pinployee.
Interviewer: Have you ever interacted with Pinploys website with the intent of posting a job but
decided not to? If so, what led you to this decision?
Task Owner2: Yes, I posted a couple of more times, but the time of answering and bidding on
my task was too long and I needed to have those things done. So I would say that this is a
problem. I as a task poster, maybe I need something done right that day I posted, but I just get
a message in 2 days after my post.
Interviewer: Do you have any needs or expectations from this kind of service that Pinploy couldn’t
fulfill? What are those?
Task Owner2: It would be really cool, if there would be a place where the information about the
Pinployee can be displayed, and just contact them there, based on their profiles, and tell them
that I have a job.
Interviewer: What would you say would be one of the most important areas that Pinploy needs
to work on so they can create a better experience for you and come back and post more tasks?
Task Owner2: Well, I guess it would be the warranty that if everything would happen it would be
covered, the fast responses would be a great thing. So I know that I can rely on the platform in
case I need it urgently.
Interviewer: Do you have any other feedback for Pinploy that would help to improve the
experience moving forward?
Task Owner2: I don`t really have anything else in mind to be honest, as I didn’t use it that many
times I didn’t discovered all the problems. But, what I would like it would be to get some
promotions or some ways of being kept in touch with the platform, maybe next time I post
something I will get some % off, or some benefits in this way, would be great.
Interviewer: Would you let your friends know about this platform if they will be in a situation like
you?
Interviewer: Yes. I will tell them my experience if it ever comes up.
Interviewer: Great, Thank you for your help Natalie.
Pinployee Interview
Interviewer: Andrei Ilisei
Interviewee: Pinployee1
Date and time: January 12 /2020/14:00
Location: Phone Call

Interviewer: Hello. Thank you for giving me the chance to talk to you. I just needed your help
with this interview as I need to get some ideas of what are the steps that a Pinployee goes
through when using the platform, and how did you ended up using it.
Pinployee1: Sure. It should be no problem.
Interviewer: We can start then. If you could tell me about yourself? What it is your name and do
you have other job beside using this website?
Pinployee1: My name is Rasmus, and I am just studying at the moment. I don’t have a job.
Interviewer: Can you tell me how old are you?
Pinployee1: I am 24.
Interviewer: Do you have any interests in your free time that are related to, like being a handy
man or carpenter, or job regarding this skills?
Pinployee1: Yes. I have some knowledge regarding cars, mechanics, and I was always helping
my dad with things around the house, so I got the grip of working in this domain.
Interviewer: That is great, when you use the Pinploy website, do you have any certifications, that
would prove your skills as a handyman, like something that would provide trust to the task
owners?
Pinployee1: Not really. They don’t ask for such a broad description of you, when creating the
account. So I just say that I am good with this kind of jobs and that is it. I don’t think a lot of
people that apply for jobs have any ways of proving their skills.
Interviewer: Yea. I understand. It is more of a side hustle. For what reasons are you applied for
this kind of jobs?
Pinployee1: The main reason to apply for this was because the money you can get are pretty
good and if you can manage jobs fast, sometimes you can get paid for like 250 kr for 30 minutes.
Depends on the tasks. It is quite convenient. Also the times when I go to do the jobs can be
flexible, and I like that I get the chance to do different stuff most of the time.
Interviewer: How did you ended up using Pinploy? were you in the process of looking for
something like this?
Pinployee1: Well, I didn’t really have any thoughts of doing something like this. It just happened
to get an add on Facebook about it because one of my friends liked their Facebook Page.
Interviewer: Have you offered this kind of services on other platforms?
Pinployee1: No. It was the first time I tried.
Interviewer: How was your interaction with the website? Creating the account and further?
Pinployee1: Pretty easy. The only thing was that you can`t access the inner platform and check
the tasks that are on, unless you create an account first and that is annoying because it doesn’t
allow you to see if it is worth making an account. It could be a waste of time. Afterwards the page
is quite simple. You can see all the tasks that are posted on the main page.
Interviewer: Can you tell me thoughts and feelings you had when you applied for jobs? The time
response that you got from the people on Pinploy, if it was easy, annoying. How did you felt
about that?
Pinployee1: Well, that depends. There are moments when I get a fast reply from the people and
it is just within hours, and others when it can pass a day before I get an answer.
Interviewer: And the answer, the whole conversation did go by the chat or you exchanged phone
numbers?
Pinployee1: At the beginning you just make you offer or you send a message by applying for the
job and then you can continue the chat on the post until you are "hired" as a Pinployee by that
person. Afterwards, you can chat with it and exchange phones or mails. Otherwise that it is not
possible.
Interviewer: How would you describe the interaction with the task owner when you applied for
the job that he posted? Did he asked a lot of information about you, proves that you can do it?
Pinployee1: I got asked about this when I was the only person that applied for a task. But I
ensured them that I know what I am doing and it was ok. Also maybe I got asked because I had
no reviews of feedbacks.
Interviewer: Do you usually spend time browsing on the platform, or you just get notifications
when something is posted?
Pinplooyee1: There are not a lot of tasks posted lately, so I go on the platform quite rare, because
when something new appears the Facebook page is posting some news about it.
Interviewer: What about emails?
Pinployee1: No. I don’t get any emails when something is posted.
Interviewer: Can you explain me the process that you went through when you went to fix the
problem? How was the interaction with the person? Was she there supervising, or she did her
things in the house?
Pinployee1: We just decided on a date and time. I went there and she showed me what I had to
do and just asked nicely if I want anything to drink and, yea. Nothing much. The person was with
me most of the time, waiting to finish. That also depends on your task and how long it is.
Sometimes you can have some tasks outside of the house that are like a couple of hours long
so they will just go into house.
Interviewer: Do you feel that the prices that they put on their tasks are satisfying for the work
that they put in?
Pinployee1: Yea. As I said, sometimes you can do a 2-hour job in 50 minutes maybe, or
something like that. And then it is a great deal for you. Plus, you have the chance to bid more
for a task. So if I think a job should pay more I just bid with what I think it is the right price

Interviewer: And how does that work for you? Do people accept your bids?
Pinployee1: Well, kind of yea. As there are not a lot of other people applying for jobs. And I do
not go crazy high. Just a couple of kr extra.
Interviewer: Regarding the release of the payment. Did the task owner checked if you did a good
job before would release the payment? They question whatever you did?
Pinployee1: They always check it while I am there. And in case it is something wrong I can just
resolve the problem right away, but I didn’t really encounter such problems.
Interviewer: Have you interacted with the Pinploy platform and apply for jobs lately?
Pinployee1: Yes, I have but there are not a lot of tasks at the moment.
Interviewer: So it is a problem of traffic that affects that. Are there also Pinployees on the platform
that you consider as a competitor?
Pinployee1: Yes. There are some usual names that always come up when applying for tasks. It
is not quite a huge competition, but as the number of the tasks is not that high, even that can be
considered competition.
Interviewer: Does that bother you?
Pinplooyee1: I wouldn’t say it bothers me. If you have a nice profile and some feedback and
reviews, people choose you beside the ones that don’t have that much on their profile. But if I
would be a new Pinployee with no feedback and reviews, I think it will bother me if no one will
accept my biddings.
Interviewer: Do you have any needs or expectations from this kind of platform that Pinploy
couldn’t fulfill? Something that would make your job easier or make you enjoy this more?
Pinployee1: I would like maybe a bigger number of tasks to be on the website. And maybe get
the chance to get an email every time when a job is posted on the platform. Because sometimes
I may miss the Facebook post. An extra option that the task owner can ask the Pinployee to buy
some materials would be nice. A couple of extra money can be earned from that. And maybe it
will make the Task Owner happy as well, as it will offer him some free time.
Interviewer: what would you say it would be one of the most areas that Pinploy need to work on
so they can create a better experience for the users?
Pinployee1: There is a hard way of communicating actually. You can only have a proper talk
after you get hired. Until that you can’t text with people.
Interviewer: Do you have any other feedbacks that could help Pinploy?
Pinployee1: I think that Pinploy should keep count of the Pinployees that are constantly using
the platform and somehow make them part of the brand. Send them some T-shirts, or some
business cards that they can hand in to the Task Owners. Make them somehow feel special. I
think it would be a cool thing to implement.

Interviewer: Yea. That it is a great idea. Some of the task owners that I interviewed said
something about that as well. As a last question, would you recommend this service to other
Friends?
Pinployee1: Yes. I think it is pretty cool if you don’t have that much expectations from it and you
are patient. It is an easy way of either making some more money or saving some.
Interviewer: That would be it. Thank you for your help and your time
Pinployee 2.
Interviewer: Hello. Thank you for giving me the chance to talk to you. I need your help with this
interview because you are one of the Pinployee that has completed several tasks on the Pinploy
website so I hoped to gain some knowledge from your experiences if that is good with you.
Pinployee2: Yes. Of course.
Interviewer: Let`s start then. If you could tell me about yourself? What it is your name and if you
have other job beside using this website?
Pinployee2: Sure. My name is Sebastian, and I am a digital manager at a recruitment agency,
part-time.
Interviewer: Are you also a student?
Pinployee2: Yes, for the next couple of days.
Interviewer: can you tell me how old are you?
Pinployee2: I am 25.
Interviewer: Do you have any interests in your free time that are related to, like being a handy
man or carpenter, or job regarding this skills?
Pinployee2: Well, I have a boat and it requires quite a lot of maintenance so I guess you start to
get a good grip from the staff doing out there.
Interviewer: Cool, when you use the Pinploy website, do you have any certifications, that would
prove your skills as a handyman, like something that would provide trust to the task owners?
Pinployee2: No.
Interviewer: For what reasons you applied for this kind of jobs? Money, the fact that you can
schedule it whenever you want?
Pinployee2: Of course a clear motivator is money, but I also like that I could do different things,
and I go into people’s house. Usually these tasks are not really hard, so the hourly pay is pretty
good, which is nice, and people are really happy that you help them and you still are a lot cheaper
than a professional company.
Interviewer: Ok. So people don’t feel uncomfortable just going on the website and try new
methods?
Pinployee2: I mean, I can only talk with the people that I met who actually did this and I guess
they felt ok about it. I am sure there are some that don`t feel right about it, but the ones that I did
help were really happy about the service and they thought it was nice that they can get some
help, at a third of the price maybe. It is kind of a win-win.
Interviewer: Have you offered this kind of services on other platforms?
Pinployee2: No. Oh, Actually I tried it on handy hand once, but I didn’t get the job.
Interviewer: Ok. Is there a big difference between Handy Hand and Pinploy? Differences that
you thing they are better on there and could be used to improve Pinploy?
Pinployee2: Well on handy hand it is a big traffic, which is a big plus. It is free, but it is also less
intuitive. It is hard to get a job as a lot of people bet on the jobs.
Interviewer: Ok. A lot of competition.
Pinployee2: Yea. A lot of competition. It is less serious also. A lot of times they don’t do it. It feels
not committed sometimes.
Interviewer: From the part of the task owner or the fixer?
Pinployee2: I would say from the part of the task owner.
Interviewer: How did you found out about Pinploy?
Pinployee2: I just saw an ad on Facebook, I think because one of my friend Liked the page or
something like this
Interviewer: How did the process of the account creation went?
Pinployee2: Pretty easy. The website is not that complex, doesn`t have a lot of features, and it
goes fast to create an account and start looking for jobs.
Interviewer: Can you tell me thoughts and feelings you had when you applied for jobs? The time
response that you got from the people on Pinploy, if it was easy, annoying. How did you felt
about that?
Pinployee2: It felt fine. I remember writing a person and they answered hours later, and I mean
it was ok.
Interviewer: And the answer, the whole conversation did go by the chat or you exchanged phone
numbers?
Pinployee2: It started on the Pinploy chat and then we exchanged phone numbers.
Interviewer: How would you describe the interaction with the task owner when you applied for
the job that he posted? Did he asked a lot of information about you, proves that you can do it?
How was he sure about this?
Pinployee2: She heard through Facebook, and she didn’t ask a lot of questions, but I said that I
have done it before and I can do it and that was enough for her. It was a good interaction, she
was very nice, and it sort of feel that it was sort of personal when you get into contact with people
like this, because it is private people to private people and I sort of helped her to find other
materials that she could use later.
Interviewer: So you communicated all the interaction, all the details that needed to be done,
more than it was on her post.
Pinployee2: Yea. Exactly. Also because the job was a lot faster than she thought and the pay
was more than it should be, and it felt quite alright to help her with other stuff as well.
Interviewer: Great. Do you usually spend time browsing on the platform, or you just get
notifications when something is posted?
Pinployee2: Only through the Facebook page, or sometimes are emails send that are jobs
available, but usually manual.
Interviewer: Can you explain me the process that you went through when you went to fix the
problem? Did you got your own tools, or that depends on the person that you worked with? Did
you had to buy the materials for the job?
Pinployee2: When you are on the platform and you make your task, there is like a button that
you can check if you don’t have tools, so that person can see that you need to bring tools. But
what I found out and I have seen this before because I have done this a couple of times, is that
sometimes they have the tools, but they don’t have the right materials. So sometimes, they might
need to get another screw and either they have to go get or you have to go get it. It would be
nice if there would be some sort of feature that you can sort of like add an expense or going to
get the right materials.
Interviewer: when you were doing the job. What was the interaction with the person? Was she
there supervising, or she did her things in the house?
Pinployee2: So every time I have done it they have always been there and there always were
women, they were nice and serving me coffee and talking to me. Usually they don’t know what
to do so they just ask if they can do something.
Interviewer: So it is really friendly. Do you feel that the prices that they put om their tasks are
satisfying for the work that they put in?
Pinployee2: Yea, because I mean, I do the bid for how much I want to do it. Last time I bid a bit
more that they put and they accepted it, so it was my own price. It was really nice
Interviewer: So you have the chance to change the price.
Pinployee2: They set like a button where you can bid whatever you want that you feel it is fair.
Interviewer: Regarding the release of the payment. Did the task owner checked if you did a good
job before would release the payment? They question whatever you did?
Pinployee2: They did it while I was there and also gave the review while I was there.
Interviewer: So usually there was no problem with this.
Pinployee2: No. I haven’t experienced it yet.
Interviewer: Do you think that one of the customers you helped would see that the job was bad
done, would call you back to come and fix it. From your own opinion.
Pinployee2: it is kind of a personal connection. So this last time, I was hanging this lamp, so it
was missing some stuff, but a better solution would require another material. What happened
was that I got this screws one day after when I was in the supermarket and we kept in touch,
and she just picked them up when day when she was nearby. It was just a nice help thing. But I
might be more helpful than other people would have been, so it is very individual. I know that
once another guy was doing something, and the task owner didn’t have some materials, so they
did like a hacky solution, which the task owner agreed to. But after he got mad because it was
not the right solution. But the task done as it described and the money was released.
Interviewer: Have you interacted with the Pinploy platform and apply for jobs lately?
Pinployee2: Yes, I have but there are not a lot of tasks at the moment. Also the page gets into
maintenance and sometimes that disturbs the activity.
Interviewer: so it is a problem of traffic that affects the number of posts.
Pinployee2: Yes
Interviewer: Do you have any needs or expectations from this kind of platform that Pinploy
couldn’t fulfill? Something that would make your job easier or make you enjoy this more?
Pinployee2: Like the feature that there`s a solution for extra payment, for going to pick that extra
materials that needed.
Interviewer: what would you say it would be one of the most areas that Pinploy need to work on
so they can create a better experience for the users?
Pinployee2: communication before a task is assigned, maybe there should a way that a
Pinployee and a task owner can write to each other, directly a couple of messages just to see if
it is a good fit without exchanging email or address.
Interviewer: So you say this would be good to happen without bidding on a task.
Pinployee2: Yea. You can write, but it is only when you comment on the task. Maybe it should
be a way of interacting before being assigned to the task.
Interviewer: Maybe you have any other feedbacks for Pinploy that would help the experience
moving forward.
Pinployee2: More traffic.
Interviewer: As a last question, would you recommend this service to other Friends?
Pinployee2: Yes. Both on using or being one.
Interviewer: Cool. Thank you for your help and your time.
