Art Appreciation Definition.

The term art appreciation is referred to the knowledge of the general and everlasting
qualities that classify all great art. It is seen used to refer to the exploration of visual art forms or the introduction of
basic principles of visual literacy.

Art history is the academic study of the history and development of the visual arts. And art appreciation, the
application basic tools of visual literacy in order to understand and appreciate works of art. ... Art history considers the

Potentially, the study of the humanities cultivates that “philosophic habit of mind” of which John Henry Newman
speaks—something radically different from an Internet and Information Age which values speed and instant
gratification. On the contrary, the humanities typically require slow, sustained deliberation on the fundamental
questions of our (or any) age.

Art is an important part of being human. Not only we have the ability to create tools and modify our surroundings, but
we also have the curiosity for making objects look beautiful. There are many possible reasons and explanations as to
why humans make art and it would probably take years to identify each one of them, but let's explore some of the most
likely reasons that humans create art.

We can say that a person is Creative…. If he or she has the ability to stretch his or her imagination into something
worthwhile or something that pleases people, or if the person is able to think of a visual quickly and able to execute it
then he or she is CREATIVE
