Ma’am/Sir,

With regard to the AOM No. 2020-001-MVUC dated January 27, 2020 pertaining
to the lack of accounting guidelines on the preparation of the financial statements on the
existing account balances of the MVUC Fund due to the abolishment of the Road Board
which might affect the relevance, reliability and comparability of the financial statements
at year-end, we would like to confirm that there is still no guidelines released to us as of
to date. Our LTO Central Office, as per inquiry and follow-up, will still conduct a dialogue
with their resident COA to discuss how they will transfer or consolidate the MVUC Fund
balances to the General Fund 101. We will wait for such time until the dialogue is finished
and a guideline is already released to make the necessary accounting adjustments.
