A. Springboard/Motivation (Establishing a Activity 1: Video Presentation

Show learners a video clip about different herbal plants.
Let learners be attentive to the video being presented.
Ask:
Did you like the video you’ve seen?
What is the video all about?
Can you name what are the herbal plants being flash on the
video?
Do we have that plants here in our barangay or community or
country?
Do you know those herbal plants?
Ask:
Where did you search those answers you got?
Did you find if very resourceful to use the internet?
Upon knowing doing your research, did you find some difficulties in
doing it?
Did you like the activity you did?
Why did you like it?
Did you find it very useful? Why?
Can you rate your project from level 1 up to 10?
Ask:
How will you use them?
Should the leaves be dried and made into powder so that they
can be mixed with our food?
Are the seeds eaten raw or are they cooked in a certain way?
How much of the medicine are you supposed to take?
And which plant part will you use?
D. Discussing new concepts and practicing Activity 4: Group Work (Prepare Me Carefully)

Group learners into five base on the how they will prepare the
herbal medicine.
Let the all members of the group participate into the activity.
Let them answer some questions base on the activity they do.

Is it hard to prepare the medicine?
Can you find lagundi leaf in your backyard or barangay?
In our own dialect what is lagundi leaf ?
Q2 (Question 2)
Can you tell what are the ingredients in making Akapulko
herbal medicine for anti-fungal?
Is it hard to prepare the medicine?
Can you find Akapulko plants in your backyard or barangay?
In our own dialect what is Akapulko ?
After each pair elaborate their answers, facilitator will now each
their answers and learners will compare their answers.
