I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson students will be able to:

Use the card catalog, the online public access catalog to locate specific resources.
III. Procedures
A. Review
Identify what type of phrase the underlined group of words in each sentence.
C. Discussion
Card Catalog is a set of cards in a library that have information about books,
journal etc; written on them and are arranged in alphabetical order.
Teacher will present a sample catalog and indicate its parts.
1. Author Card- the name of the author’s last name is printed on the top of the
card
2. Title Card- Title of the book is printed on the top of the card. After it the
authors name, publishing information and subjects are listed below.
3. Subject Card- Subject of the book is printed at the top of the card other
information follow under it.
D. Drill
Read the lists of authors, subjects and titles. Write A for author, S for subject and T
for title before each number.

IV. Evaluation
Teacher will post a picture on the board
Write the exact detail asked in the sample picture on the board
