PROJECT INFORMATION
1) The flow rate is the line-break flow in the adjecent line. At changes in the upslope or downslope, the flow rate is computed by subtracting the flow rate in the feeding leg from
the flow rate in the lower leg. For long ascents and descents, the flow rate is one half of the line-break flow.
2) Air release valve model numbers are for full size connections; smaller connections are available.
3) In accordance with State EPA requirements, all potable water air valves must be ANSI/NSF 61 Certified.
4) Stations are added as needed (i.e. 1600) to provide a maximum spacing of 2500 ft (760 M).
NOTES
The project has been pre-determined to illustrate the AirValve program functionality.
