Methods and strategy

The Philippines is an archipelago consisting of more than 7,000 islands, our country is especially
prone to hydrometeorological events such as typhoons and floods. Because of that the country is
often visited by a lot of typhoons, there is many various effects of typhoon, the effect ranges to
trees, watercraft and buildings to both immediate and long-term impacts on human life and
livelihood. As of today the sufferings increase by the effect of the typhoon such as big pile of garbage
floating around after the typhoon. Because of that our research surrounds with the idea of cleaning
and dealing with the trash, the sea bin project. Having that project will help lessen the garbage that
every flood bring, so we ask a fifty people from the residents of Bagong Silangan Quezon City.

Methods and strategy

The study is composed of 50 residents of Bagong Silangan Quezon City about their knowledge in the
sea bin project, The survey was ask from various of people, 54 years old men to 10 years old kid.

Figure 1 shows the number of the residents who answered the survey that was distributed by the
researches. The respondents who answered “no” has a higher percent with 82% (eighty -two
percent0 than the respondents who answered “yes” with the percentage of 22% (twenty-two
percent).
