This presentation is about the cell phone history
My group is conformed by juan jose moncayo, maria jose Arteaga and maria
laura Estrella
Introduction
Between the years 80 and 2000, the evolution of cell phones was
important in the development of the following smartphones
generations.
The first cell phones did not have great features, but the idea of being
able to communicate remotely, was something really attractive.
Today, cell phones have evolved in a very noticeable way and have
become part of our day to day.

Now my partner Maria Jose is going to talk about what is a phone

What is phone?
They are electronic devices that are primarily designed for remote
communication. Also are useful to call, send emails and even for
entertainment

Nowadays, the mobile phone or cell phone is an indispensable device;


However, its popularization has been a very recent phenomenon. At first, the
mobile phone could only be used in vehicles because of its size, later it was
reduced to a portable unit, and finally to the pocket size that we use today.
The first commercial mobile telephone service appeared in 1946 in San Luis,
United States. The AT&T company then began operating the MTS, or Mobile
Telephone System, which two years later would be available in more than
100 cities and highways.
Now my partner Maria L aura is gpint to talk about the first generation of
cellphones

First generation
On April 3, 1973, Martín Cooper, manager of Motorola, made the first call
from a DynaTAC 8000X mobile phone from a New York street.

The DynaTAC 8000X is officially presented in 1984, the year that it began to
be marketed. The phone weighed about 1 kg,and had a size of 33 high x 4.4
wide x 8.9 large centimeters, and its battery lasted an hour of
communication or a working day (eight hours) in standby, with LED display.

The secod phone was in 1983, called motorola Direct 8000x


this phone was presented for motorola in 1983. Its main characteristic was
that it could keep thirty telephone numbers and its battery lasted near to
one hour.

This nokia weight around 9. 8 kilograms. It was made mainly to use it in a
car. It was setting off in 1989. This cellphone was used as radio and only
people with a lot of money can get access to this device, even it was a symbol
of status.

Now , juan jose is going to talk about the second generation of cellphones.

The second generation was born in the ninetys, using systems such as GSM.
(Global System for Mobile communications?
The development of this generation has as its cornerstone, the digitalization
of communications. The digital communications offer a better voice quality
than the analog ones, (La diferencia entre señales análogas y digitales es
que en la tecnología análoga la información se convierte en pulsos
eléctricos de amplitud variada. Por otro lado, en la tecnología digital, la
información es traducida hacia un formato binario) in addition the level of
security was increased and the manufacturing of the Terminal was

The standard that has universalized mobile telephony has been GSM (Global

It was realesed on 26 of October 1990, the weight of this device was 500
grams. The battery lasted one hour and fithteen minutes. Its charging time
was around fourteen hours. This cellphone was revolutionary due to its
antenna which inprove its voice quality and signal achieving a better
communication.

THE THIRD GENERATION
It was the beginning of entertainment, the arrival of the Internet in the late
90s increased people's interest.
The Nokia brand was the first to launch a cell phone model with Internet, the
cell was called NOKIA 9000

The nokia 9000 communicator was the first product in nokia´s


communication series, announced at Cebit in 1996 and nokia introduced it
into the market on 15 of august of 1996. The phone was large an heavy with
a weight of 397 grams.

CONCLUSION
Thanks to the first cell phones, the development of technology over
time has evolved, the last generations starting since 2002 until 2019,
the evolution that cell phones have had, include the reduction of
physical size and the increase in other aspects such as in the inner
layer and also the evolution of the touch keys .
