Anaerobic solids digestion, solids removed from sedimentation spend enough time in
the digerters to break down into water, methane gas and sludge residue.
Secondary Sedimentation, provides a long resident time
allowing lighter solids to settle for removal.

This is the disinfection process, the water flows through UV lights to kill bacteria that
may remain in the wastewater.
Once the water has been disinfected and is up to
regulation it is released into the river.
My favorite part of our trip

I liked seeing the UV lights cleaning the water, it gives me peace of mind but also cool
to see the light glowing in the water. The guide also took us up to the tallest point
and I got a cool panorama of the grounds.
